Our Primary Purpose

The primary mission of the association is to enhance the quality of life within our neighborhood by promoting community engagement, addressing shared concerns, and advocating for our residents' interests. We focus on key priorities that affect us all, such as property values, community safety, and neighborhood aesthetics.

Additionally, the association serves as a vital link to local government. We promote, coordinate, and advise on all aspects of planning for the City of Keizer and other advisory bodies, ensuring our neighborhood has a proactive voice in the future of our city.

Your voice Matters!

Building a Stronger Community and Enhancing Resilience!

A neighborhood association is a collective of homeowners, renters, apartment dwellers, businesses, schools, and faith-based organizations—all united by a common goal: to improve our local environment.

I helped establish this association to strengthen the foundation of our community and the areas surrounding us. We are a group of neighbors dedicated to creating tangible change, ensuring our neighborhoods are safer and more vibrant for ourselves, our children, and our grandchildren. By working together, we build the resilience necessary to meet local challenges and thrive as a unified community.

Advocacy in Action

We represent your interests in critical areas that impact your daily life:

  • Infrastructure & Safety: Advocating for improved pedestrian crossings, bike lane connectivity, and traffic management to keep our streets safe for all ages.
  • Parks & Recreation: Overseeing the development and maintenance of our local green spaces and community amenities.
  • Civic Transparency: Ensuring that the voices of Keizer residents are heard and respected by the City Council and planning commissions.

Community Literacy & Engagement

Beyond policy, we are dedicated to building a culture of connection. From local literacy projects and book-sharing boxes to our annual National Night Out, we strive to create opportunities for neighbors to meet, learn, and support one another.

Your involvement makes the difference. Let’s continue building a stronger, more resilient Keizer together.

Literacy Walks: A Collaborative Path to Learning

Literacy walks (also known as Story Walks) represent a powerful shift in how we observe and support education. At their core, these walks are driven by dedicated teamwork among administrators, teachers, and coaches working together as colleagues.

A Focused Approach to Growth

Unlike traditional evaluations, a literacy walk is not about judgment or performance reviews. Instead, it is a focused classroom visit designed to offer educators an opportunity to reflect on the heartbeat of the classroom:

  • Student Learning: Observing what and how students are learning in real-time.
  • Engagement: Seeing how students connect with the content and curriculum.
  • Interaction: Understanding the dynamics between teachers, students, and their peers.

Host a Story Walk!

We believe these walks are a vital tool for fostering a supportive, high-growth environment for both staff and students. If you are interested in hosting a Story Walk or would like more information on how to bring this initiative to your space, please reach out to us.
