Another part of our purpose of the Association shall be to promote, coordinate, implement, and advise on all aspects of planning for the City of Keizer or any other planning or advisory bodies.

I helped to put this neighborhood association together in order to help improve the condition of my community and those communities around me. We are just a group of people who want to create change in our communities and make it safer for our children and grandchildren and for ourselves.

Greater Northeast Keizer has these parks, and we are working on a beautification project to add take a book leave a book, with a garden box for plants and herbs for the community to access. This is to help with education of our children and help fight food insecurit

The great part of this project is garden places are part of the master plan for Keizer and it gives us an opportunity to help meet those goals.

Literacy walks, otherwise known as a story walk or literacy walks, one key driver of change has been dedicated teamwork among administrators, teachers, and coaches all participating as colleagues. Unlike the dreaded high-stakes evaluation, during which a single administrator judges a teacher’s performance, a literacy walk is a focused classroom visit that provides administrators and teachers an opportunity to reflect on what and how students are learning, how they engage with the content, and how they interact with the teacher and peers.
